Descriptive: This photo is descriptive because it shows what a specific venomous spider looks like and serves its purpose as a description of the arachnid/a warning to the viewer. 
 

Explanatory: This image is explanatory because the image depicts the result of a common dinner table mishap that most if not all the viewers are familiar with, which results in almost all viewers being able to understand the events that took place right before the shot was taken without too much thought.
 

Interpretive: This photo is interpretive because it allows the viewer to come to their own conclusion about the deeper meaning behind the image shown(more specifically about the subject and why it was chosen/presented as it has been).
 

Aesthetically Evaluative: This photo is aesthetically evaluative because the blue/gray/black hues of the background go well with the purple hues of the reflection on the DVD and nicely contrast with the warm hues of the hand holding. The scene itself (large green trees against a clear blue sky) is also commonly considered to be aesthetically pleasing. 
 

Ethically Evaluative: This image is ethically evaluative because it calls attention to the candy being used by children looking like a substance that causes serious health problems and addiction. Pointing out how dangerous habits can quickly be mimicked by children and become deadly.
 

Theoretical: This photo is theoretical because it uses long exposure photography to illustrate a specific photography art medium and how it can be used to show the progression of time.
